Home Hunting Continued

The search may be coming to an end.... yes, we found a home.

Last weekend we looked at preowned homes ALL day Saturday. After church on Sunday we stopped in and looked at some new homes. Our heads were spinning. After we SOAPed on Sunday we started sharing our thoughts.

God is so good. We are exactly on the same page. In fact, we both picked the same top three homes. Number 1 and 2 were switched. So on Monday, we went back to the one we truly feel God is leading us too. We took pictures and measurements. We talked about improvements and who would have what room. The home feels right.

Our plan is to put an offer in this week. Since it is a short sale we are praying fervently we will be under contract by the end of April (so we can get the tax rebate), then close sometime in May or even June.

Looks like we will have three children with us - David heading to Estrella Mountain Community College, Jay working and Heather healing, doing school and hopefully finding a job so she can get back on her feet.

Now, just need to figure out where the furniture goes!! God is amazing and good and holy and magnificent....

Valentine's Day Gets Better

Just when I thought it couldn't get better - it does.

Brian, Jay and David are working on David's truck and not fighting! Not only are they not fighting - they are laughing.....

God is good!!

Valentine's Day

What an amazing husband I have. Monday he sent me flowers that are absolutely beautiful, last evening we went to dinner at T-Bone up on South Mountain, today he gave me dark chocolate and a foot rub is coming!!!

We have had a blast looking at homes again today. We are waiting for God's timing and continuing to search. But it was so much fun today to hang out. We hit the jackpot at Goodwill for Brian (love half price Saturdays!!) finding four shirts. He bought me the coolest red purse for $2.49.

God has so blessed us!!

Home Hunting

This is so exasperating. We found an absolutely wonderful home, didn't need much work, big lot, lots of bedrooms.... found out this afternoon it is going to trustee sale on Friday. We want to scream.

Knowing God is in control and getting our arms around it seem to be two different things at the moment. There have been a couple of homes we really liked and they have sold.

So we are excited because if all of these homes we really liked are gone, what is the home God has for us be like? It will have lots of bedrooms, a large kitchen, three car garage, nice backyard, plus stuff we haven't thought of.

God has brought us through so much, He is about ready to bless our socks off. He is so good.
